We were honored to debut one of our most anticipated new creations at Fall Market 2019: the Tronco Ahogado from our exclusive Glacial Collection.

From Root to Remarkable

The journey of Tronco Ahogado begins deep in the forests, with massive roots of exotic trees, sustainably sourced and cured for more than two years before arriving at our workshop. These raw, naturally shaped forms are then transformed into bespoke pieces of functional art.

The Craftsmanship Behind the Beauty

Once the wood arrives, our artisans begin a meticulous and multi-stage process:

Cleaning and Conditioning: Each root is carefully cleaned and stabilized to preserve its natural shape while preparing it for finishing.
Custom Coloration and Finishing: We work hand-in-hand with clients to develop personalized finishes, ensuring the piece reflects their vision and fits their space.
Epoxy Pouring: Creating each piece requires an average of 120 gallons of resin, poured and layered with precision.
Extended Curing Period: After pouring, each table undergoes a 12-week curing period to ensure strength, durability, and flawless results.
Final Touches: The surface is polished and coated to achieve a stunning piano-gloss finish, resulting in a dramatic, glass-like sheen that enhances the wood’s natural contours.
